Dr. Kiran Jobanputra

Dr. Kiran Jobanputra is a medical doctor and public health practitioner, who has worked in the humanitarian sector for 19 years, including 14 years in field programs and as non-communicable diseases (NCD) advisor for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and subsequently as deputy medical director and head of the Manson Unit, a technical medical unit supporting MSF on research and innovation. He currently works as a family physician and consultant on NCDs in humanitarian emergencies for the World Health Organisation (WHO), and the International Alliance for Diabetes Action (IADA), a network of agencies working to improve access to diabetes care in emergencies. He is also a member of the Climate Action Accelerator, a Swiss NGO that supports and mobilises health care organisations to transition to climate resilient and sustainable health service delivery.
